HAS will also prepare the Deed, which includes affordability restrictions, for your signature at closing. This is the only Deed to be executed at closing; your attorney should NOT prepare an additional deed. At the closing you will be charged a HAS Resale Fee, as outlined in the Notice of Intent of Sell. An invoice will be prepared for this fee and sent to your attorney. This fee covers the costs associated with the resale of this unit and must be included in the HUD1 Settlement Statement. Please DO NOT have potential buyers submit applications directly to HAS.
